Dear Partner,

Dell declared the Journey Enabled R640 and PowerEdge R640 reached End-of-Life on June 30, 2024, and the PowerEdge FC640 reached End-of-Life on December 31, 2022. Per Dell lifecycle policy, this means the products are no longer sold, development has ended and product updates will no longer be posted.

Therefore, ST Engineering iDirect will end support for the JE-R640 and R640 on June 30, 2027, and for the FC640 on December 31, 2025, as per our EOL policy.

Note: ST Engineering iDirect will fulfill purchase orders for these products while supplies last. These orders will be subject to the terms and conditions of your agreement with ST Engineering iDirect.

Replacement Products:
We recommend that customers, as they refresh their servers, replace their existing Dell PowerEdge JE-R640, R640 and FC640 servers with the Dell PowerEdge JE-R660.
